For Experienced Attorneys

Experienced lawyers play a vital role in strengthening Alabama’s rural legal network. Your knowledge and guidance can help new attorneys establish practices that truly serve their communities. You can support this work by serving as a mentor, offering contract or overflow work, providing office or resource-sharing arrangements, or simply being a trusted advisor as a new lawyer builds confidence and skill. Your involvement helps ensure that emerging practitioners have the foundation they need to succeed in underserved areas.

For Communities

Local leadership is essential in identifying where legal needs are most urgent. Judges, bar leaders, civic organizations, and community stakeholders can help highlight gaps in access to justice and guide Harvesters of Hope toward counties where attorneys can make the greatest impact. By sharing insights, supporting placements, and welcoming new lawyers into the community, you help create the conditions for long-term success and a stronger, more resilient local justice system.
