Harvesters of Hope has announced the launch of a new law office in Camden, Alabama. This office, led by attorney Diana Cannon Wilson, represents the organization’s effort to bring more legal services to the Black Belt region, with plans for additional offices across the state in the future.
Wilson expressed enthusiasm about serving residents of Wilcox County and neighboring areas, drawing on her academic and professional background that includes studies at Alabama Southern Community College, Faulkner University, and the Miles College School of Law.
Leaders from the Alabama State Bar have highlighted the need for attorneys in smaller towns like Camden to handle a variety of legal matters — from civil disputes and criminal defense to landlord-tenant issues, real estate, and estate planning — noting that a lack of local legal representation can hinder both justice and economic growth.
The new office was scheduled to officially open on October 10, 2025.
